    I like it. Three strong elements -- sky, sand and shadow.

    Two thoughts: might also be nice in black and white and might be interesting to see a slightly tighter crop to move the horizon line a little farther from middle of frame. That said, I may be 100 percent wrong and you may find the strongest version is the one above! :)

    Steve, thank you for the feedback. Though I would get useful critics on this site and am not disappointed :)

    It's too harsh in black and white for my liking. I will try the crop though ;)

    Thank you for the comments and welcome !

    As a rule, I do not remove anything from the pictures. I adjust levels, the white balance and might crop / switch to black and white but nothing more :)

    Here is another shot which I like less but taken same place, same time:

    I don't know which I like best... I think the first! Sensuous. I personally like the little bush.... shows the stark loneliness...poor little thing.
