missing files

in my elements 10 I keep getting a persistant pop up stating:"searching for missing file-click on browse".i don't know what this means.any ideas? thanks

if I uninstall and reinstall my elements10 will the pictures in elements 10 still be there?they were when I did this with elements 7. thanks

i could not find any pertinent info on the google link above which you provided.can you tell me IN PLAIN ENGLISH how to reconnect my missing files in elements 10?thanks

I did rename a bunch of files thru the software program faststone.could this be the source of my problem of missing files?thanks

ironically,the files I renamed outside of pse 10 were unaffected as missing files.the only files that were affected were NOT renamed at all.i have researched this matter to great length and realize that there is no way to reconnect the missing files.would I have less of a problem with this if I used cs2?i understand cs2 is free. thanks
