Couple of hawks

Have always wanted to get shots of hawks but never succeeded. With some luck, found couple of them in morning light and first semi-success. Hope to get them in flight at eye level someday.

    Wow, gorgeous! I prefer 2 to 4- love seeing the light and full detail on those wings. The catchlights in his eyes on 3 are gorgeous- plus the feathers look almost painted.

    I will say, #1 looks like he may be the next disney villain. I mean that in the most awesome way possible.

    Personally I was hoping for sharper results but I think the shake was too much and even IS and 1/2500 of shutter couldn't overcome it. Cheers!
