Well, it's difficult for me to comment without knowing what I'm looking at
If it's an image that's been hand drawn / painted - from scratch - using some sort of painting s/ware and no other reference, other than what's in your personal 'wetware' ... then it's a pretty decent job ... although I can't see why you'd include the vertical pole / whatever into the background.
I'd also query why you decided to have the top of head 'just' touching frame top ... and why miss out the tail tip.
For me, a bit more eye definition / separation would help, too.
A different colour palette might also be a consideration?
If - as I suspect - it's a photo that's been run thro' a filter or 2 ... I'd suggest starting out with a different / better pic.
