Will consider body only but prefer the kit.

Unless someone knows a place where I can get a brand new unit. :deal

Already called Beach, B&H, Best Buy, Click, Ritz, etc, etc.

There's a place here in NJ that has D70s. I haven't checked the price or anything though. It's one of those small places that's been in business for dozens of years; the guys in there know their stuff though, and I can personally recommend them because I've been there to buy several things from them, including my D50, a Tamron 18-200 lens, some filters, and have printed pictures there 'n such.

They do have a website, http://www.tandfcamera.com/, but you can't buy online from them. Their phone number is (856) 691-5328 if you'd like to call them.

If you're interested in one, I can go check it out. It's less than half hour from my house.

I have a D70 body I'd be willing to sell to help finance a D200. It's in fantastic shape, never any issues. About 6000 shots taken. Always well cared for, it's my prize possession! Latest Firmware update. Let me know what price range you're looking for.

Why the D70 and not the S by the way?

70s is still pretty pricey. I'd really like to find the D70 kit new and take advantage of the rebate but they aren't available anywhere I've called. Bestbuy was clearing them out this summer for $699 in kit form. Wish I would have jumped then...rolleyes1.gif

e-mail me what you have in mind on the D70 you have Cliff.

Last time I was there (not long ago) they had the D70 and D70s. They have plenty more than what they put on their site.

I have a D70 that I would sell. EXCELLENT condition (was just cleaned and repaired by Nikon. Had the "Green light of Death"). Shutter count is high though...20,000+

I let a friend know that you're looking, she just listed hers for sale along with a 100-300 I think.
