Is there any simple way to convert a gallery from the legacy site into a page?

What kind of page was it on legacy Got a Link?

Your about page is the old journal style so it's not available on NewSmug.
But can be created on NewSmug just like that with an html and photo box.

Go to organize and highlight your name top left
    Click "create" > page
    open the new page

Add a single photo box to the page
Add an html box to the right of that
Add another html box below both of those. (full width)

Copy the caption text from legacy
If you used html tags don't copy those

top right box paste in the text to the right of your photo.
bottom box paste in "A global treasure" and every below it.

I'm just beginning to deal with the migration. My assistant started it, but I think I need to delete a lot of what she did and start with a cleaner slate. I was hoping that creating the new pages wouldn't be a bunch of copy and paste, but perhaps a conversion tool.

You're lucky you have not migrated because you can copy and paste. Not have to start over.

See my last post, added a few more steps.

Okay. Thanks, Allen. Back to tackling what my assistant already did, and seeing what needs fixing and what needs to be redone from scratch. I'm afraid it's going to be a long night.

Your Master Classes page is all in the gallery description. You should be able to copy that and
paste into an html box on a new page in NewSmug. Probably take a little tweaking to get it to
    look almost exactly the same.

You can probably see the gallery in NewSmug now with the add photos message below. It would
be much cleaner to "convert" it to a page.

Thanks, Allen. I haven't explored the add HTML part yet. Still getting a feel for things.
