John, as everyone already knows, is very trustworthy! The canon 135 L is an excellent buy and whoever gets it will have made a very smart decision.... It's one of those lenses that after you use it you feel good about your purchase because you will see a great difference between this lens and other canon lenses.... the contrast / bokeh / color are wonderful!

    85 mm L - just want to be sure of the L part....I have an 85mm f1.8 non L

I am longing for several of the lenses that you have for sale, but need to do some real financial ciphering before I say more.

I've been looking for a 135L in excellent condition, John. However, this time of the year is very tough. I'm still counting the pennies to see if I might be able to make it work. headscratch.gifeat:nono:flash

I can't believe this stuff hasn't sold yet. I already have the 300mm and 100mm and I love them both. The have been looking at the 135 for a long time but can't quite justify it at this time. Someone should really buy these lenses, they are all very high quality. Good luck John.

John - did you sell the 135? Still trying to figure out how to finance, but both the 300 and the mystery 135 interest me.

John, I'm interested in the 135L if it's still for sale and comes back from Canon with a clean bill of health.mwink.gif

I got it back this week.Canon replace the focusing unit and cleaned it.
    Cost was $118.00.
It now works flawless, but its not cost effective for me to sell it @ this time.
    Thanks,John

Thanks for the response. I'm glad the lens is back and in pristine working order for you again.clap.gif

I understand about the cost effective constraints. I'll keep looking.

John, this is getting long and confusing. If you just have a Sigma macro ring flash left, please let me know and I will rename the thread if you fix up the first post to represent the current state of things.

    thanks!
