Thanks Richard and Cristóbal. Given the the hands and the water balloon are not distinguished in b/w, I looked at and liked this color version.

Personally, I didn't need any further explanation to enjoy the image.

The color version does make a difference. I certainly didn't pick up on the fact
that she was squeezing a balloon in the b&w. That does explain why she looks
like she's having fun.

Thanks for the explanation. I can see the balloon now. However, I prefer the BW version, it makes the expressions of both men stand out and that's an important part of the picture.
