Google Chrome Crash

hello everyone! Just wanted to see if anyone was having the same problem I keep having whenever you try to edit your site. If I hit customize, I get into about 2 or 3 actions and Chrome crashes. This happens ALL of the time. I'm not sure what I'm doing to cause this but its simple things like changing the font on my main page....I just tried firefox also and the same thing happened....is something wrong on my end?? User error maybe?

Hi Jeff,

I have checked your site and did some testing - everything works fine {using Chrome}. Have you tried re-installing the browser or using a completely different one - like Firefox?

You can also check if you have installed any extensions in your browser - try disabling them and see if this helps.

I tried Firefox, and the same thing happened but only once. I'll try to reinstall Chrome, that is a good idea. Thanks for looking into it for me.

There's virtually nothing in common between Chrome and Firefox, except for plugins like Flash (sort of, since Chrome has its own version) and Java. You can try updating both of those just in case:

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
http://java.com/en/

Does it always occur when changing fonts? Maybe your system has a corrupted font file on it, and both browsers crash while trying to use it.

If that doesn't solve it, the most likely explanation is that both of your browsers (or your system) is infected with Spyware which is crashing them. Run a spyware scan.

Hmm alright so Java was out of date, its asked me to update it a good 5 times in the last week....guess I have to keep up with that more often? haha. And I ran a spyware scan, nothing was found. Hopefully the update did the trick.....thanks for your response!

Java fixing the problem is a real long shot, because it's not (as far as I know) used on the customise screen. It used to be used for some of the photo uploaders, I think.
