Howdy All,

Been a while, finally had a chance to get away
over Christmas and did a little shooting.

We spent Christmas in New Orleans and
had a great time. We did a Cemetery Tour
with Save Our Cemeteries, we both thought
it was one of the best tours we've ever taken.
Our Tour Guide John, was funny, informative, and
we found out part of his Passion for this Cemetery
when we stopped by one Memorial Tomb turned out
to be his Families where his Mother was interned.
I can't recommend Save Our Cemeteries Tours
enough, and can't wait to return and take not only
this Tour Again, but the one from the St. Louis Cemetery

No. 1.

Exactly! Some unique processing technique I think.

Well, Craig, it great to see you back with a camera in your hand. As usual with the IR technique, the people have an other-worldly appearance to them....quite appropriate when you consider the environment they are in.

Old cemeteries seem to have a universal appeal. I'd love to spend some time with you in the Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah. Every time I'm up there, I spend at least a couple of hours roaming through that place. It's fascinating....as are those cemeteries in New Orleans.

    Take care,

    Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

Hey Craig, wave.gif. I love the first one because the people look a little like zombies with the color treatment you used. I'm guessing that wasn't your intent, but hey, it works for me naughty.gif. Good to see you posting again. thumb.gif

    Howdy Eia,

:D:D:DI thought it was a fitting place to
    include People !!!

I don't hardly shoot IR's with people in
them, but John, while a very, very nice
man, fit the bill for the Introduction to
    the Cemetery !!!
    Take care,

    Howdy Stumblebum,

Thanks for the Reply, IR has that affect
on us Humans, some of the IR Filters
really bring out a lot of beautiful facial
features, and some not so much :D

    Howdy You Rascal,

Thanks very much, it's been a long time, with the new Job I don't
get a chance to shoot very much anymore.

I agree, I've had a long lasting fastination with Cemeteries, there's always
so much History, interesting Memorials and Monuments, and seems there's
always something to see and shoot.

I've got you and I shooting that Cemetery Down on my Short List,
getting a little closer to Retirement every day !!! Can't wait, we'll all
have a Grand Time, hopefully we can get Randy and his Better Half to Join
    All of Us !!!
    Take care,

    Howdy Richard,

Thanks for the very kind reply and the Welcome Back, I've a few
more images from the trip to post :D

I did actually think that including folks like I'd written in the earlier
reply, and John was a fitting model with his Lean and Pale Features,
but have to say, a Nicer and more personable person I've never met!!!
    especially in a Cemetery mwink.gif

    I'm ready anytime pard's!

You're a hard one to rope into a shoot, with the new job and all...

It's obvious that a little time off from photography hasn't hurt your skill's any. Nice images and as always, great processing.

I just hope that I remember how to push the shutter button on my camera when I pick it up again eek7.gif

    Howdy You,

:D I seem to be wide awake at 3am :D:D:D Hopefully my hours might
be changing soon, trying not to get too excited but will be nice.

If so we can get out and Shoot some, I've definitely missed it, and maybe
we can get a few shots in before it's 108 like last time :D:D:D

Have a great weekend, looks like we're in for a little Rough Weather today,
74 one day, and then sleet the next, only in Texas mwink.gif

    Howdy Don,

Thanks very much, it's good to be posting again,
it's been a long time since I've gotten out to shoot,
and New Orleans was the perfect venue, although it
    was really, really cold.
    Take care,
