I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.
Thanks for the comments, but I don't feel I've got the hang of
adding rust yet. Yeah, I did some things in Photoshop to pop
the colors, and added a masked texture layer with the opacity
reduced, but it doesn't look like real rust to me. I can't get
that gritty, flaky look.
It's become a challenge, though. I shot some stock frames of
real rust today that I'll try as future texture layers.
Here's what I started with, and it really was a rusty Subaru.
