Need Help on Where to Stat with the New Smugmug

I have a home page that I like on Legacy Smugmug and I am trying to figure out where to start to update my page to the new SmugMug. I have been looking for some kind of guide to explain the new setup and how to get started. I have been fiddling around, but I am struggling with how to set things up similar to what I currently have.

You might try one of these tutorials as a starting point:

Your categories / subcategories / galleries structure becomes folders and galleries in new smug.

Your information galleries are best recreated as pages in new smug.
You can easily recreate your navbar in new smug.

I would like to duplicate the mouse hover over feature from my Legacy "Information/About My Art" page. When you hover the mouse over some of the images, the picture changes. Can this be done in the new SmugMug???

I think you would need you use a custom html content block for something like that. With a hover action in the CSS.

As Smug Eric said you can do this with an HTML content block.
