Hello all! Hope everyone is having a great day :) I just wanted some help on creating a custom navbar....or where to go to create one. I've found some websites online but their templates are either cheesy, or great (for 5 a month). Anyone have a site they used?? Hopefully asking for this is not against the rules here. Please let me know if it is! Thanks all :):ivar

Thanks for the reply. I get the basics to doing it....I just see other people with custom headers and I have no idea how to do it to be honest haha. I just know how to throw my site name in there, change the font/color/size and call it a day. What are they using to make it custom?? like a solid bar straight across the top of their site with a picture implemented?

Can you give a link as an example of what you see or want to do?
You are setting this up in New Smugmug, not Legacy, correct?
Things like photos or logos are different content "blocks" you will find in the content tab on the right side flyout when in Customize mode. You drag the block you want and place it on your page (homepage, gallery, entire site, etc.) Dragging and dropping is a little tricky until you get the hang of it, you look for the pale green horizontal or vertical green bars that are along the page border, or above/below/left/right of other blocks. Then you can tweak the settings (wrench), margins and container widths (triangle) - icons located on each block's top left corner.

Not sure if this is a good example.....but the logo is what i'm referring to.

Yes, he created an image. Photoshop is one program you could use, using a special font and effect. Some people hire companies to create a logo. I don't have one myself, I just use text and html for an effect. You can see that on my home page.
