These are the kinds of shots I'd like to try with my athlete friends.....

Not being a professional, but wanting to try this, please don't take offense at my observations. I'm still learning...

The first four seem to lack a bit of 'pop' I personally would like to see. Picking up with #5, the external lighting helps with that a lot.

#1 - I like the pose. It's simple and clean
#2 - Really like this for bringing out her face/features/smile. Gets the point across well
#3 - Not so sure about the crop and her rear. And two distracting yellow balls image/left
#4 - I really like this except for the car/object in the background.
#5 - Adding the light, things begin to 'pop'.
#6/#7 - Not sure what's really going on. They almost look like a studio shoot with such a precise differentiation between the subject and the sand/fence.
#8 - Really like this one too yet would have liked to see her looking at the camera with that smile of hers. The shower head I'm up in the air with understanding a workout series/shower for effect or an eyesore.

Was she the same gal with the 370 car for sale shoot?

    Thanks

1-4 we had nice diffused overcast skies. When I get that in the middle of the day I take advantage of it, especially walking around downtown.

6,7 that was the look I was going for, studio outside.

8 here is your other option, and no this is a different woman from the car shoot.
