Doesn't display filename

I want to have the gallery show the filename, so the user can let me know which files they want to discuss. In the Appearance menu I have set Show Filenames to On. As an administrator, I can see the filenames. However, when I open another browser, to look at the gallery as a user, there is no filename, no matter which mode it's in. I've tried multiple browsers to the same result.

What did I miss? This should be straightforward, I'd think, but I can't make it work.

It's very difficult to help without a link to your site and a link to the gallery in question. Please add your site link to your signature so it is always available to the helpers here. Here is the gallery at issue. http://www.d2weddingphotography.com/Carolyn-Blair-and-Brett-Mastr/Annapolis-Yacht-Club/ The settings are to display the filename, and it works fine when I'm logged in as the administrator. As administrator, the filename displays both at the bottom left, and on hover. When viewing as a user, neither is true.

That's odd, for some photos clicking the "info" icon on the lightbox pops up an empty "info" dialog too (this would normally contain details about the image like shot time).

Have you perhaps collected the photos from a different gallery? The settings in the original gallery normally stay with the image, so you would have to adjust the settings in the source gallery.

@Lamah - that was the issue. It is a collected copy from another gallery. I turned on Display Filenames in the source gallery, and it worked fine.

It'd be nice to have granular control to apply different settings to Collections, but for now I'm glad I've got this working correctly.
