Creating new pages on blog

Am I missing something with creating blogs on smugmug? I understand how you need to setup a page and gallery to store the photos that will be on the blog. BUT what about when the single page gets filled up with many blog posts and scrolling down becomes unweidly? Is there an easy way to create a new page to go, because imagine having 100 posts on a single page!

Is there a nice way to to say add text links like buttons pages "1,2,3" and so on?

You could have the high level blog page set to display folders where each folder contains pages that are blog entries for a set time-frame.

It's really up to you how you organize this section of your site. Maybe using pages works nicely for you, maybe not. If you are planning to have a lot of blog pages you might consider using a blogging platform that is set to handle pages.

I don't see a blog on your site. I'm curious - how many entries are you planning? Will you be posting to your blog every day? Once a week? Or?

Hello Denise, thanks for your reply. I have several blogs on my website under "blogs" on the banner. This blog I am setting up is my own photography "how-to" blog so I don't imagine that it would be regular posts, I would envisage say two a month possibly.

I stand corrected, I must have accidently moved my "blog" link when tweaking my website.

Two a month isn't that many - I would think that you could easily show 24 posts on one page. If you want to implement you blog using smug pages then it seems like a page that links to the blog posts for a specific year would work.
