Customization for default Gallery Slideshow

Maybe this exists, but I sure can't find it. I'm not talking about the slide show you can add as content to a page; I'm talking about the show that is activated when you click on the Slide Show button on any gallery.

It appears that there are no customization options available at all. It would be nice to make these available, especially the ability to include the image title and caption.

    It seems like I've seen this request before (I know I've requested the ability to show captions), but yes, the ability to customize the gallery slideshow would be even better.
