the tele is the VCL-HGD1758 high grade. Has now been discontinued! It has a couple of blems on the exterior alluminum (small dents) but the glass is perfect... very sharp!!!! Comes complete with front and rear caps and 'leather' pouch.

$150.00 + shipping

heres an image I found on the web

heres a sample shot taken with the tele and my 717

Also for sale is a Sony .7x wide angle. This is not the w/a specific to the 7x7 as it has an adaptor ring. I'm not at home to check but I'm 99% sure its the VCL-MHG07A high grade .7x.... (I'll be home on thursday and can double check the part number) This lens is in excellent condition and also quite sharp, even edge to edge. Comes with adaptor ring, front and rear caps, and 'leather' pouch.

$85 + shipping

hese will fit other cams besides the 7x7 series of course. Anything with a 58mm thread and I believe also 52mm on the wide angle (will have to double check that)

If someone would like to buy them together I'll sell as a package for $200 even plus shipping.

    Hi Dani

I'm checking to make sure these will work on my Sony F828.
If so I am very interested in the package.

Can any F828 owner give me some advice on these?

I am not sure how it would work on the 828, but I do know the Tele works awesome on my 717.

    It is sharp... very sharp...

Here is an example with the tele on to help sell this nice thing for Dani :)

As long as these are 58mm thread they should work fine.

It's a good idea for the TC to use it on camera in manual focus mode.
The extra weight isn't good for the AF mech.

15524779-Ti.gif with GF. I know for a certainty that the HGD1758 TC will work with the 828. And he is correct in pointing out that you have to be really careful to properly support the TC when attached or risk damaging the 828's mechanical zoom.

I am less sure about the .7 WA, 28mms was wide enoguh for most folks who were used to a 39mm wide...lol I see no reason why it shouldn't work just fine thumb.gif Same caution as with the TC since the MHG07A is a heavy little suckah and the 828's zoom extends a little in full wide. Ummmmmm a 20mm wide angle view iloveyou.gif

I'd also like to vouch for Dani. You can buy with confidence from her :D

The wide adaptor lens will not work on the 828. It will be right at home on the 7x7 cameras, as well as the older S-series, which it was originally made for.

    Thanks David and everybody.
I love my 828 and it's well pampered camera. I've been doing some reading and searching today and it just scares me to put the weight of these lenses on it. While I would like the extra reach, and who doesn't, I just don't want to take the chance and screw it up.
    So much for that idea.

Good luck Dani with your sale.

It isn't just about the weight. That WA is not optically meant for the 828, even if you support it somehow.

    Ahh I see.
Well I don't think we are supposed to discuss the ins and outs of these items for sale... or can we? Anyway Dani is getting some bumps on her goodies.

This is a good buy for someone with the right camera and a good price for the set.
