Giveaway widget not displaying on page

I am bulding my giveaway page. I would like to add a widget (is that what they are called) that clients can click., refer etc. I found one I like, built a test one. Tried putting it on smugmug page: Customize just this page, add html but nothing happened, not a line, nothing. I tried typing in the code since I know sometimes copy and paste does not work on pages, nothing again. I will attach the code company gave me to insert on the page. What is the problem?

Javascript is not supported in smugmug - does that widget use javascript?

A way around the restriction? Not on your smugmug site as it currently exists.

If it's something many people want it's possible smug would implement it as a content block. You can add a request to the features request forum.
