Let visitors sort the photos themselves

Instead of making all sorts of pre-sorted albums by date taken, date uploaded, by name etc. – why not give the visitors the possibility to sort galleries by themselves, as they can with search results? It would make the pages come to life in a much better way and give a feeling of interactivity. And it woud be easier to discover new photos.
