Nav Bar issues in Chrome only

I just noticed none of my nav bar buttons are working in Chrome (!!??). They're fine in FireFox and Safari.
What's strange is they worked in Chrome the last time I tried (maybe a week or two ago?) I don't have Chrome on my home computer but have it at work/school.
I had initial problems getting the buttons to work in all 3 browsers when I first set up the site as the height of the slideshow seemed to overlap and 'cover' the nav bar at first - after hours of adjustments I found the happy medium so the SS isn't too low on the homepage and the nav bar works in ALL browsers...has something changed in only Chrome recently.
I haven't made any adjustments in weeks...hmmmm
It seems to be only on the homepage as when I go directly into any other page on the site with a direct link the nav bar works fine - once back to the home page - nothing!!??
UPDATE: 4 pm pst - OK I went into my settings and increased the space between the top of SS and nav bar by an additional 10 px. Result: I once again have use of the nav bar in Chrome...
I say this as someone else may have the same - "I haven't made ANY changes yet things no longer work" situation and hopefully this will help out.
Thanks
