Clouds over the moon

No clouds for two months but nooooo....they decide to show up and photo bomb the moon shot. How to expose for such?

    That second posted shot looks very dreamy. Might make a good book cover. My monitor is quite bright but the pic looks really dark. Perhaps that was your goal? Possibly tweak the curve and general brightness up a little bit more to make the contrast of the foreground objects in the bottom right stand out more against the water to bring a more 3D appearance to the image?
