header woes....

Not sure what I've done to my site but something changed and I've had to bodge a fix to my header to get it looking right on a desktop but it's dreadful on smaller screens and devices.

Essentially I want the logo on the left and tag line on the right just as I have it, with the orange bar aligning with the 'P' in Photography (as it should look on your screen now).

It used to do this with virtually no coding and I'm damned if I can understand what I've done wrong. So to rectify it I've had to put in a massive 186px padding around the logo to push it to the left hand edge and get it to align, plus some CSS to move the tag line up a little and the logo down a little.

The problem comes with this amount of padding when viewed on smaller screens or mobile devices, too much space and nothing aligning.

Is there a simple way of telling the logo to align left and the tag line to align right?
