Watermark fade does not seem to work

I have numerous watermarks. I have edited each of them and set to 10%. As a test to see if I like at this fade percentage I removed watermark from an image and then reapplied the watermark. It does not seem to fade.

What info do you need to help figure this out?

Are they transparent png's?

They should be.

Well, talk about user error. I was misinterpreting the Fade % and was going the wrong direction. Problem solved.
