Hello,
I am in preview mode, almost ready to launch.
My question is in gallery settings……I cannot see the password.
Often clients will contact me for a password and I will look it up for them.
Where can I find the password when I am logged in.

Thank You,
Patty

The passwords are one-way encrypted; they can't be displayed clear text. You can either keep an external password list or you can reset the password if your client forgets.

Thank You…….not exactly what I wanted to hear
I guess I will have to go back and manually write down the all of the pw's
It will be a total nightmare.

Yeah, we came across this problem but we can't afford to reset them (many users access the gallery).

We actually use a password manager app (we got 1Password when it was on sale). This usefully syncs between iPhone and Desktop. It's a useful way of storing them and of generating them.

There are free alternatives without syncing and that generally aren't advanced but would do the job. For example, Password Manager App.

    Thanks for that info…..
Would this be for going forward or will it be able to tell you passwords that are in existing (older) galleries once launched?
    Def for going forward however.
    Thanks

It's only for stuff you add to it (and you have to add it manually). It's not too hard to use though (unless you had about 400 galleries like us!).

Plus, you can store all your website logins, etc. in it too.

I will def look at this for going forward. I do have hundreds of galleries currently. Thankfully not all password protected. It will be a bit of a job to start but then I can add the pw like you said as I go along.

    Thanks again!
