Add Like Facebook button

I know it's an easy one but I try and I try..

How to add the Like FB icon on my web site ( gallery or others ? )

    Hi Fredsou. If I understand you, is it not as simple as going in to customise your site/page, then under 'Social' in the list of available content blocks, there is the option for 'Share Buttons'? If that does it for you, you are not alone - this eluded me for a while there too.

    I use 3 social methods:
    1. the social icons that I put in the upper right side of my banner.
    2. the share buttons that are specific for the smugmug page (not the facebook page count)
    3. The html code from facebook to show the like count from my facebook page.

    Th first 2 are added using the content blocks under social.
    The last (#3) is done by having #2 somewhere on the page, and adding the facebook badge code for your facebook page. The html will not work if you do not have the share button code added to your page.

    SmugSam I'm looking for the LIKE buttons . I can see it on your site . How can I added it ?

    Yep Fredsou as Eric says they are called "Share Buttons" and you should find them as per my first answer. Good luck!

    To add just a Facebook Like button:
    1. Go to 'Customize' -> 'Customize Site'
    2. In the side panel, under 'Add Content Blocks', click 'Social' to expand it.
    3. Drag the 'Share Buttons' content block onto your page.
    4. Hover over it and click the Wrench icon.
    5. Set the 'Tweet' and '+1' buttons to 'OFF'.
    6. (optional) To associate the Like button with a specific URL, instead of whichever page your visitors are currently looking at, change the 'Share URL' to 'Custom' and set a 'Custom URL'.

    Sorry to be overly specific. I just wanted to get everything in there. :)
