How to hide gallery photos?

I have several galleries and they are currently the Smugmug style. If I change them to Slideshow, the images are not displayed as large as I would like. If I customize onto the page a slideshow, the images displayed are much larger.

For simplicity vs creating new pages, can I add some code to a gallery to have it not display the photos in the gallery so I can just add in a slideshow and use the photos from the gallery?

That's an odd situation, I haven't seen it perform like that before.

You can hide the gallery content by adding a CSS block to the page with this code in it:

.sm-user-ui .sm-gallery {
	display:none;
}
