    Thanks Jeff, I now have a smugmug account, and this was my first post with 3 pics. It took me a little time to work it out, and I hope I can remember how to do it again. I couldn't believe the little guy even tried a fish that size, but he did it.

    I didn't expect such a large response, so I guess I did the post correctly. Thank you one and all. I too thought the little bird was taking a pretty large bite, but he flipped it around to the right postion and managed to get it down.

    those grebes are very good fish getters but that is the biggest --good shots good post have a merry xmas and hope to see you at the pond thumb.gif
