Customizing my gallery settings?

Last week I made changes to my homepage galleries using the wrench icon and it affected only my homepage. My galleries still have larger spacing between photos and there in no option to make adjustments, which makes the collage landscape appear as thumbnails. Previously, I was able to independently customize my galleries…no more. Customize>Just this Page means exactly that; the homepage only. Email support said that homepage customization would be site-wide and that would be my only option.
A bit confused as to what has changed and how I should proceed. Thanks in advance.

Customize > Homepage applies only to the homepage.
Customize > Entire site applies to your entire site.

CSS placed in a CSS box on Entire Site applies to your entire site.

It's very difficult to help without a link to your site. Click the clipboard icon on the navbar above, then Edit Signature. Begin your site link with http:// to make it clickable.

Once you have a site link please tell us exactly what you are trying to change.

    To customize the styles
    • Open a gallery
    • Customize...
    • Customize site
    • All galleries
    • Hover over the gallery "space"
    • Click the wrench icon
    • Select the style you want to change
    • Specify the settings
    • repeat as desired

When I open a gallery and click on customize, choices are:

    1. Gallery Style

    2. Page Theme

    3. Site-Wide Theme

    4. Gallery Settings

I see none of the options to which you refer. If I could see those options, there would be no problem at all. What am I missing?

If you have a basic account level then you don't have access to the full customization options available with the other account levels.

I completely understand I am limited within my basic account. I am confused as to why, a month ago I experimented by changing the spacing to 6px on my homepage, which also applied to all of my galleries. Last week I decided I didn't like the spacing and changed back to 1px on my homepage while the galleries stayed at 6px. Am I stuck with the 6px spacing in my galleries unless I upgrade?

    Please advise and thank you!

Do you have a link to your site so I can take a look?

I don't think you could ever change the padding in the gallery. As you have no option to edit the gallery block. And when editing your homepage you are just editing that page. And our galleries default to having that size padding between the images.
