I borrowed some hot (cool) lights and my daughter invited a couple friends. The lights were not the brightest so I used iso 320 and F-stop 1.8 to 2.8.

First off your exposures look to be good and that is a biggie. For me 2 & 3 are very nice so congrats. My nit would be posing, you have the exposure down.

#1 is just a fun shot, generally the shoulders should be down but it is a fun shot so what the heck.

#2 I like but watch out for what the girls wear on the wrist, not sure if it is a type of jewelry or a hair band.

#3 is just great, watch out for the hair across her throat.

#4 Never let them just plop their head down, it has sunken into her shoulders. Anytime something touches the face I tell them to just barely touch and it does look as if your resting on your hand.

#5 is fun but your lens choice enlarges her nose so watch out for short lens and close to subject.

#6 again it is a fun shot so go for it.

    Hot/cool, is that LED's?

    Beautiful portraits!
#2 looks like it has a -clarity effect.. am I right? Not a fan of that on such a pretty model... Great pictures!

Thanks for the critiques, instructions on posing is something I have never done. I basically told the girls where to be and just started shooting. I wish the lights were a little brighter so I could have stepped down to f4. AR15 I don't think I used the clarity but i may have. I was trying a lot of different things as I am also learning light room. Mostly i softened the skin and sharpened eyes with the brush tool.
