Thumbnail Gallery: Inconsistant Thumbnails

I'm using the 'Thumbnail Galley Style' and set the "Square Thumbnails" to ON, so I should see a square thumbnail on all of my galleries right? For some reason some display as square thumbnails, but some don't: http://mike.imagesinthebackcountry.com/Mountain-Home-State-Forest/

Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong? :dunno

I have the SmugMug style set as default with SQUARE THUMBS=ON.

If i search for a keyword the thumbs will be shown in the size of the original gallery. That means: yes, it is possible that a SmugMug gallery can display non-Square-thumbs, depends on the original source gallery of the thumb.

Same applies to smart galleries.

All galleries also set as "Thumbnail-style". I have no clue about using smart galleries, honestly.

So the link above is a "normal" gallery? Does it show non-square-thumbs also if you remove all custom CSS?

Hm... i see the single photo that shows as square thumb is a portrait-style photo... all others are landscape.

Ahhh... my fault... i thought you ment SmugMug-Style gallery and not thumbnails... yes. Thumbnail-style galleries do not respect the SuqareThumbs settings. You can check the extra gallery settings when using customize to set aspect ratio to 1:1. Never tested though...

I deleted the theme's custom CSS, and previewed it. It shows all thumbnails, as it should. Going to have to remove sections and see what happens. I'll let you know...

I had this to contain some images on a few of my custom pages, which "broke" the thumbnails:

img {
    max-width: 100%;
    -moz-box-sizing: border-box;
         box-sizing: border-box;
    }

I had to be more selective to make my custom pages work:

.portfolio-item img {
    max-width: 100%;
    -moz-box-sizing: border-box;
         box-sizing: border-box;
    }
