Photo caption

Is it possible to move the caption either closer to the images or ideally on the left bottom corner of the image like it is on the homepage slideshow by default (note that I now disabled captions on the homepage slideshow but I want to have that effect on the gallery images)? Not sure if I made myself clear....
Thanks

    Can you give us more details so we can make sure we are understanding what you are trying to do? Perhaps even some screenshots would be helpful to.

    Hi Ely,

    Can you please provide more details on what you are trying to accomplish? The exact details on what, where, why and to what images or locations. An example or notated screenshot can really help as well.

    Thanks -Stano

    My guess is that she wants the photo caption just below the photo on the left side. Right now it is under the "menu" used to click through the images.

    Thanks everybody for your replies. I am considering 2 options at the moment

    1- Caption like in this photo

    07ie.png

    If I enable the caption on my homepage slideshow it automatically sets that (that's why I was able to snap that screenshot), but I dont want any captions on the homepage slideshow (I was just giving it as an example and I successfully disabled the caption on the homepage slideshow), just on the images in the galleries.

    2- Like Denise said the caption just below the photo on the left side

    I am not sure which one to go for. Maybe you can advise? if you can please let me know what CSS I have to enter/what settings I have to edit for both options then I will try them both and maybe see which one works better. I just dont like where the caption in the galleries is at the moment... it's just too far from the images!! Let me know if it's still not clear

    Thanks so much!

    You can hide the captions on the home page slideshow with CSS. This is what I have, not sure if this will work in your case though.
    .sm-page-widget-slideshow .sm-tile-info {
        display: none;
        }

    Thanks for your reply. However it's not what I meant. I disabled the caption on my homepage slideshow alright. I was just explaining how I got my screenshot.
    What I want to change is the captions in the galleries, not in the slideshow. I want to move it from where it is as it's too far from the images
    Thanks

    I haven't been able to come up with a way to move the caption (hopefully someone will jump in with some magic) but I did find a feature request where you might want to add a comment - Caption Area div's. I think what Allen is requesting there would meet your needs as well.
