Changing slideshow background color without affecting slideshow button

I can change the background of slideshow by adjusting the "Primary Color" under theme settings, but the color of the slideshow button (the one next to the buy button) also changes accordingly.

Is there a way to change the background of the slideshow to dark grey/black, while keeping the slideshow button white?

Try this, and change the color to suit:

.sm-slideshow{
    background:#ccc;
    }

Erm. Now that I've darkened the background of the slideshow, can I also change the color of the Play/Pause button on the slideshow page? The problem I have now is that the dark play/pause button doesn't really stand out from the dark background.
