As stated, my 300D is back from a COMPLETE overhaul from Canon.

They replaced the shutter/mirror, sensor, and everything associated with those, so it's like it's got a completely new set of legs.

595$CDN for the body & lens & batt & software & books and such...

No box available, unfortunately when I moved, the box didn't make it.
Missing eyecup, apparently the repair center lost it...

So i'm throwing in a lowepro camera bag. Just one of the small ones like the TLZ10 or the EX140. (Roughly equivalent cost to a replacement eyecup...)

That, or make me an offer.

Shutter clicks: 1. No dead/hot pixels... :

PHOTOS!

I will accept discounts in the form of prints. (Yes, prints. If you have nice work that I could display in my apartment, I will discount the price approximately 15$ if you include and mail to me an 8x12, with a proper matte identifying you as the photographer.)

I will accept trades:
- Studio Equipment (Drops, Lighting, Softboxes, Reflectors, etc...)
- Lenses (Anything fast. f/2.8 or faster, or a good telephoto. 75-300/USM or 100-300/USM)
- Lenses (Anything L... 17-40/4, 70-200/4, etc...)
- Memory Cards (CF, and fast)
- CF Card Dumps (40gb minimum)
- Software (Photoshop)
- uhh... other pretty shiny things... :dunno

I might be interested in the grip, if you're selling them separately.
    It's the BG-E1, right..?

Yup. I might ask that you try to find someone to help me buy the rebel, but I don't think selling the grip seperately would be too much trouble.

    Where are you located?

    ALSO: CAMERA UPDATE!

I got it back today. It's got 1 click on it now. Took a 2 second exposure at 100ISO, and NO dead or hot pixels show up. File is available if anyone wants me to email it.

I know a couple of people at work who are in the market, but I think one is going for the 20D and the other for the XT. I'll email the one who's thinking of the XT though.
I'm in MA, just north of Boston.

I hope I can just send both to you and have you split it up when you get there, rather than splitting shipping?

Scott, sorry but I can't take the grip off your hands. Our car broke down last night and the shop called this morning to say it's going to cost $1200 to rebuild the rear axle. All my funds have to go to that I'm afraid. Sorry.

    Price Drop. (OBO) on camera.

Make me your offers! Note that my paypal is *NOT* working, so I can only accept money orders. The less hassle the better, for whatever solution you choose to replace it.

Someone's going to get a steal picking this up. This body is the very first DSLR I ever shot, and it has a lot of good photographic karma linked to it. Canon's revamp has left it in amazing condition. I'm surprised someone hasn't snapped it up as a backup body.
