auto-links?

I got a comment on a photo that ended with 'sign me up for auto-links'.

I have no idea what that means--is it a feature I need to enable, so that someone gets notification when I post new images?

    Can you give us a link to an example? It is most likely comment spam.

    Sounds like he just wants to know when you update the gallery.

    that was my impression, but I was just curious if there is some feature called 'auto-links' that is specific to smugmug.

    Sadly, with our drought, it is exceedingly unlikely I'll have an opportunity to update that gallery (requires sun between rains when I'm at home to take advantage) anytime soon!

    How about a gallery feed?
    Share > Get a Link > Feed Links tab

    Feeds are usually enabled unless you disable them via the account settings > privacy > feeds setting.
