Headed back to Long Island today for a week, and had to make a short detour before I drove through NYC. These were taken from Liberty State Park in New Jersey.

- The full Moon shined down on Lower Manhattan. The new World Trade Center building is to the left.

- The new World Trade Center

- The Empire State Building ready for St. Patrick's Day

- This is the New Jersey September 11 Memorial, "Empty Sky". It is two large walls - 30 feet high, and 208 feet long, with the central walkway facing the spot in the NYC skyline where the WTC towers stood.

- Structural steel from the WTC at the memorial.

- The inner faces of the walls are covered in stainless steel, and are engraved with the names of 746 New Jersey residents who died on September 11.
