The last few days my sugar/honey syrup offerings on camellia flowers have been mopped up in short order by honey bees.

Thanks Phil - I didn't used to see many but seem to have got a few this year. Don't know if there's a bee keeper somewhere near now. I actually get a scout every morning looking to see if I've put any freebies out on one particular camellia.
