Denise, I can't get to the CSS in my site any longer. I see the word CSS in the customization menu but when I click in it nothing happens. I'm trying to do a few things: 1. Make certain words in my captions italic; 2. Remove the "buy" shopping cart, and make my thumbnails bigger on my smugmug default gallery page.

Thanks if you can help.
Teri

Are you using legacy or new smugmug?

To remove the buy button, go into the gallery settings for each gallery and set the shopping cart to off.

Are you asking about a SmugMug-style gallery? If that's what you're asking about we do not have control over the size of the thumbs. If you're asking about something else please be specific about what you mean by the smugmug default gallery page.

Still no luck turning off "shopping cart" button is set to off already. The "owner buy" button still shows up.

Does anyone know how to italicize the font in captions? The method used in the old version of Smugmug no longer works.

The "Owner Buy" only shows when you're logged in.

You can force the buy button to be removed by using the code here:
    http://www.aaronmphotography.com/Customizations/Gallery/Buttons/Remove-Buy

To add italics to your caption, just type <i>around the text you want</i>. The captions can handle HTML.

If you add HTML to your captions, and you also have line breaks, then adding the HTML will cause smugmug to ignore the line-breaks. To force the line-breaks to come back, use this CSS: http://www.aaronmphotography.com/Customizations/Gallery/Caption-Line-Breaks

To get to your CSS content block, go to Customize -> Customize Site, and make sure the Customization bar is shown. Under the "Content" tab you should see your content blocks listed. One should say "CSS". If you put your mouse over it, a wrench icon will appear. Click that.
