B&W Skater - Conversions

Yesterday i took some shots of a skater and then decided to play with B&W conversions on Nik Silver Efex.

Besides from the usual and most needed critique, can you tell me what kind of B&W processing is more appealing.

    My thoughts are: get closer and get lower - there isn't a lot of height in these stunts, so being closer will increase the angle. The conversion is good, but the action itself lacks much punch because of the perspective.

    Commenting strictly on the conversion, #4 works best for me.

    While I try for the blacks to be black most of the time, you can
    lose the subject if the image is too dark.

    Thanks for taking the time for looking at a sports noob photog ;-)

    I also try to keep blacks as black as possible, but since i'm not used to work with sport photography, that's why i asked you guys opinion.
