Grange Over Sands from Jenny Brown's Point at Dusk

A bit of a rarity today from me as I did a tiny bit of landscaping. Took my wife Gillian & daughter Rachel for a chippy tea at Arnside and squeezed in half an hour with the camera.

Wellies definitely required as I walked across a tidal inlet, clambered onto slippery rocks still wet, and passing dozens of rock pools to reach this dangerous stand point, to get a view of the village of Grange Over Sands.

Liking #2 a lot... the composition with the peek into the deserted beach and the fuliginous skies is pleasing...
With all the Cal Coast images lately, it's nice to see rocks from a distant land and of a different sort.

Thanks Eric - I rarely do landscapes so I'm quite pleased with these, esp #2.

Very nice. thumb.gif These shots are certainly worth the effort you made to get to that vantage point....particularly # 2. I'm sure we all would appreciate it if you would show us more of the landscape in your neck of the woods.

    Take care,

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

I checked out your link to some additional landscape scenes. That last one is outstanding. I'd like to see you put up a landscape or two every now and then. I'm sure others would as well.

I will when I get the chance. I tend to be limited to the garden and bugs, but an occasional day trip can reap rewards. :)

    Thanks again Tom.
