Decisions, decisions...which shot to submit?

I took these 2 shots down at the beach the other day and I can't decide which to submit for the challenge. Please share you're thoughts. Also any suggestions on post-processing are welcome......

I love the "At Peace, At Play"! It's a much more interesting and atypical beach shot. The surfing one is also cool, but I don't think it can beat the way the seagull looks at that child.

I use 2 different browsers upon occasion and I found that sometimes Internet Explorer won't load the pics, but Safari loads them OK, I dunno why
