Spring Sunrise

This is a familiar shot, different day. Jonsrud Viewpoint in Sandy, Oregon. I keep trying to get a well lit foreground with the rising sunrise and possibly a lenticular above the mountain. The only thing I got today was the orange sky......

I think I will have to take my chances on a sunset pik with some clouds above that can be painted orange by the setting sun..... that way I can have my foreground lit properly.... the only thing I can say for this is that it somewhat resembles a painting... can't say i'm too pleased, but, well, here it is....

Blast away if you will.....:rofl

Where does the sun rise relative to this shot?

Maybe take a bracketed shot, one being after the sun rises enough to light the foreground and then blend them? ne_nau.gif

It takes guts to post an imperfect photo, Lee. And you're right, a big old lenticular cloud over that mountain would have changed the whole scene. nod.gif
