Can SM host other file-types like PDFs?

Can Smugmug host files other than image files? I want to link to a PDF that I've created, and it would be simplest for me if I could just host the file on my site so I know right where it lives. Is this possible?
If not, what is the recommended way to do this - do I need another file hosting service? Recommendations?
Thanks!

You can store your PDF on a site like DropBox or Google Drive. There are others out there too.

Oh, that would be awesome! I'm not a pro at this, but I looked up a tutorial on how to create a subdomain using GoDaddy. It indicates that I need to use the "Web Hosting" section of the GoDaddy site, but when I go there, it's asking me to sign up for additional (paid) services.
I own the domain, but . . . isn't it hosted by SmugMug? So, do I need to purchase a separate web hosting service in order to make this work?
Sorry, kind of a newb when it comes to domains and hosting.

All I know is my hosting service (ICDSoft.com) allows me to create 15 sub-domains. My Smugmug site is actually a sub-domain of my regular (Wordpress) site.

OP probably owns a domain name. A domain name doesn't include any web hosting, there is no place to upload files to. Web hosting is a separate service. If you buy web hosting from many companies, they will throw in a domain name as part of the package, but the reverse is much rarer.

True. In my case my domain and hosting are the same company. Since my SM site isn't my domain (it's a sub-domain), he may not have that option.

Thanks both of you. Yes, I believe I just have the domain name . . . but I must have SOMEONE hosting my site, right? I thought that was part of what I paid SmugMug for. No?
As for Godaddy, I don't love them, but I just signed up through the "Smugmug Domains by Godaddy" page.
The closest thing I've been able to find on that site is that under the forwarding options, there's a place that says "manage subdomains." It tells me that I don't have any subdomains setup, but the only option is to "Add Subdomain Forwarding" which then brings me to this:
I can't tell for sure, but it looks like that would set me up with a subdomain, but then just make it forward to my main domain. I don't know if I would then somehow be able to upload files to the subdomain . . . .

Smugmug hosts one of my sub-domains, but my non-SM site is hosted by the same company that registers my domain.
You may have to do what Denise suggests.
