OK, i have been working on this stuff all morning, no reason, just have, thought they would be easy. Marsh, Shem Creek, Shrimp boats,
first photo is about the first one I took, the sun is coming up, through clouds, behind me, into the shrimp boats. The sky in the harbor is still dark.

I have photoshopped these a bit. The first one I darkened the sky and warmed the grass. That is as I saw it, but does it look too dark, OK, or fake?

This next one was later, I had worked the place, was kind of walking around, I realized that one of the boats was going out. You really can't tell that, but the lead boat is headed out. The thing is the colors were different. The grass was no longer as on fire, the blues were starting to come through the sky, so I put some cyan on with a warming filter. That makes it different from the other one???

See my tagline, if I didn't know I could do this stuff, there would be no problems, now knowing what and how much is driving me nuts..........what do you think?

This is probably an hour after the first one, or a bit more, or less?

Now I think this is funny, I photographed, yesterday, after I left here and was on my way to a place of birds, I worked a barber shop photo set, and I just worked this up for fun yesterday. No problems, just saturation here and there, whatever, very fast, no frames. Plan to go back to it, but it was so easy, .............................just to show you.

    Thanks, Phil.

Hi, Johno! I think some of that rain is supposed to come this way! I suppose your only question would be, "how many systems are set to come your way, smile". I think it is a mixed blessing. With rain you don't feel the guilt that you should always be out shooting. You can work on what you have shot, find gems you might have missed.

But, it is still raining, and that is a downer. Shooting is the most fun for me.

    Merry Christmas,

for all who want it, a Blessed Christmas!

I did it, I was on PS for another reason, and it occurred to me to try blending the original lighter version from Raw with the worked up version on this thread, of early morning at the shrimp dock on the winter solstice.

Got this which I am now happy with. Why does it take me so long?

Or all dressed up and heavily framed as in below. Gilting could go on the next photo, perhaps.........

Whatever, I am now happy with the photo itself! Thanks you all for letting me sit on it for awhile.
