Possible to create sub-links in navbar to pages not in folder?

Hello,

Is it possible to create sub-links in the nav bar that go to pages that I specify? I know that I can have the main link go to a folder, and show sub-links for pages or galleries within that folder, but what I'm trying to do is create menu sub-links that go to pages that I specify, while having the main link go to another page I specify. Can this be done?

Thanks!

You can specify a different link in every button to wherever you want. Just make sure to get the
whole link including the code at the end for unlisted pages.

No, I think you misunderstand my question. I'm interested in creating SUB-menu items. Currently this is possible through the nav-bar options if you point a menu item to a folder, then this screen gives you the option to include sub-links to items in the folder. Those items then show up as menu drop-downs when you hover over the item in the nav-bar.

What I want to do is to create a nav-bar menu with drop-downs as this does, but I want to specify specific items to be in the drop-down, rather than just showing items in a single folder.

Sure, just create multiple links at the top level, then drag one link underneath another and slightly to the right until it attaches on as a sub-link.

Do you mean in the organizer? I can't seem to make that work.

But actually Lamah, it's perfect that you are the one replying here, since you will understand what I'm trying to do. I want to create a nav-bar menu item for the tabbed "services" page that you helped me code in this thread, and have the drop-down that comes up when you hover over that item in the nav-bar include links to each of the tabs.

In other words, they will actually all go to the same "page," but each one will have a different #tab-specifier.

No, not the organiser. In the customiser settings for the menu block there is the main part that lists all the links. That's where you can drag items around to change their nesting.

    Brilliant, thanks once again Lamah!
