This is a pic of a odd glass vase I have....no clue who it's made by??
I have 3 dishes that go with it with same or similar color also odd patterns.
(I know it wasn't cheap! Person that orginally owned this stuff spared no expense on anything!!)
Perfect stuff for some neat still life.:D
Trying to figure a way to backlight it for a REAL dramatic shot.:scratch

** Anyone know someone that's into glass that can identify this I'd be grateful!**

Comments or other ideas for shots welcome!

get some white poster board and make a snoot for an off camera flash and either aim it up from below or use a piece of blk cloth with a hole the size of the snoot to fire thru.....also might be interesting to have flash benthe it on glass or plexi that is apinted blk with a hole forthe flash to fire thru.

    good shot tho..............thumb.gif

Personally...I could spend a lot of time working very close up in the abstractness ofthe vase.....those patterns are great...and so it the shape of the whole vase....but those patterns...see I keep coming back to them....wow :D

I like glass that is odd in shape, size, colour and texture, I can't help but wonder what the person who was creating it was thinking of at the time :D
They come up with some amazing stuff those glass blowers.
I've had the opportunity to watch them a couple of times and gosh they make it look sooooo simple but it's not.

    Thanks for sharing......... Skippy (Australia)

Neat pics- I was going to suggest it looks like Venetian Glass- typical of their style.
