How long is a bee fly's proboscis ?

Very long !
Some natural light shots of a bee fly exercising (cleaning ?) it's proboscis with an animation at the end.

Davy - I tend to use shutter priority for natural light shots- 1/200th or faster then adjust ISO to get a reasonable aperture setting. Only other thing I tend to shoot at -.66 or -.33 EC to stop over - exposure unless the subject or background is very bright.
