Is there a way to configure keywords so they only appear when logged in?

You can do this:

body:not(.sm-user-owner) .sm-lightbox-keywords,
body:not(.sm-user-owner) .sm-tile-keywords {
	display:none;
}

When logged in these are in the body tag.
sm-user-loggedin sm-user-owner

When not logged in this appears in your body tag for visitors who are logged in to their
own site when visiting your site.
sm-user-loggedin

So you have to be careful what class names to use if you want to hide something not logged in.
