Slideshow

I have created an Event for a Gallery and have set up a Slideshow. Why does my slideshow start on the last photo and go backwards? I don't see anything to control that. My photos in the Gallery display in the order that I want the Slideshow to display. I have set the slideshow so that it does not have a random start or a random order.
