So while your still taking pictures of birds in your lagoons harry ours are frozen solid. But we are going to be darned if thats gonna slow us down. We had never actually built one of these into the ice and were interested in seeing if it would work. The first time was not a charm as the A-frame had a bit of a blowout under my 230lb weight. The second worked awesome though and we had a good hour or two of jumping around on the slackline. I'll post the shots I took here and I figure that coldclimb will post the shots of me that he took. Enjoy!

John rigs the slackline through the ice. Our only anchors.

John (coldclimb) catches tons of Air.

Thought he would check out the line and see if it looked strait by doing a frontflip 180 off of it.

Just taking another pose on the line.

It is a piece of 1'' webbing used for climbing. You tighten it down really well and then walk on it. Thats the basic premise. What we did was dig some nice holes into the ice and counted on the strength of the ice to hold up against the pull of the webbing. We used a device called the Slack-Jack which helps pull the webbing really tight. Heres the contraption all connected up in a picture from a different day.

Nice work Prez. I especially like the second and last, and the composition of the first shows the setup quite well. Almost cool enough to want to print, or at the very least snag the high-res versions for my archives. :D
